Gail is a founding director of BIASP and specialises in office fit out, space planning, procurement & project management for corporate organisations. Gail manages the practice and Is particularly involved with client interface. organisational philosophy, planning strategy, site supervision and certification. Prior to forming BIASP, Gail worked with the London Borough of Greenwich in the United Kingdom, and was a director of Space Source and BI Associates in Johannesburg.

Ketan Patel

Ketan is practice director with 20 years of experience in both the private and public sector. His projects include schools, community centres, hospitals, clinics, office buildings, hotels, residential, retail and urban design. He specialises in project management, space planning, building detailing, developing performance specifications and site supervision. Ketan worked previously with O’Neill Associates, The CSIR Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and 3P Design in Johannesburg before forming BIASP.

Peter is a senior architectural technician with experience in retail and office interiors, refurbishments and heritage consultancy.
Prior to joining BIASP, Peter worked with heritage architects Adina Bregman and Clive Chipkin in Johannesburg.
Simon Bird
Architect

Simon is a registered architect in South Africa and the United Kingdom with 20 years global experience. He specialises in project feasibility, building design and technical leadership of professional consultant teams across a wide range of industry sectors including cultural, higher education, commercial, research and development, government and social housing. His involvement at Freedom Park and the University of Johannesburg consolidation projects in collaboration with GAPP Architects and Urban Designers received regional and national recognition from the South African Institute of Architects. Simon has worked in several countries including Germany, Austria, Spain, the Republic of Ireland, Botswana, South Africa and the United Kingdom. He is an external moderator for the University of Johannesburg.

Razeenah Manack
Technologist

Razeenah is a qualified architectural technologist with BIM modelling skills in Revit and AutoCAD. She has been recently involved in the space planning and interior design for 30,000sqm government office building in Tshwane in collaboration with the base build architectural team. Razeenah holds candidate registration with SACAP.
Kamo Motopi
Technologist
BAS (Wits)
Kamo is a qualified architectural technologist with BIM modelling skills in Revit, 2d drafting in AutoCAD and CGI presentations using Lumion. His recent focus has been in building condition assessments and liaison with council with regard to existing building compliance. Kamo holds candidate registration with SACAP.
Lyn Mathewson
Office Manager
Lyn heads the administrative department within the practice and has previous experience in a variety of industrial sectors including automotive, education, financial services, medical services schemes and life insurance. Her responsibilities cover BBB-EE compliance, company insurances, taxation, human resources, health and safety, marketing, general accounting, invoicing and staff remuneration.
Yvonne Katsukunya
Office administrator
Yvonne provides key administrative support to the practice from a marketing and business development perspective and is personal assistant to the company directors. She is involved in briefings, supply chain management, BBB-EE compliance and training, tender sourcing, tender documentation and providing administrative support to the drawing office. Yvonne is a fluent Zulu, Ndebele and Shona speaker and is currently studying for a graduate degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand.
